DATA & REPORTS
Each year, the CTSC gathers a variety of bike and pedestrian data to guide and inform our programs. Annual Bike Observation Surveys and Pedestrian Observation Surveys help us to identify behavior trends among cyclists, pedestrians and motorists alike. Focus groups give us an opportunity to hear directly from diverse demographic groups about thier transportation experiences in Santa Cruz County.
CTSC staff also access county injury and fatality data collected by the California Office of Traffic Safety to create annual State of the County reports. Data includes the location of bike and pedestrian injury collisions, the ages of those involved, who was at fault, and top collision factors.
